It was recently announced as the winner of the prestigious title Pevonia Spa of the Year award 2018. Monart Destination Spa is one of my favourite places to retreat too for some much-needed rest and relaxation.
I recently enjoyed a one-night stay to try out their new summer radiance escape package, and I couldn’t recommend it enough.
The moment you arrive at Monart, you feel the stress of everyday life begin to slip away. It’s the perfect cocooned environment to reconnect with yourself and focus on your personal wellness.
Summer Radiance Escape
The head to toe treatment designed to have you looking and feeling radiant and relaxed. It will have your face, skin and nails feeling refreshed, hydrated and polished.
Treatments
First up, I enjoyed the ‘Green Apple Refresh’ treatment. This infuses your skin with the latest de-ageing ingredients such as natural argan and comfrey plant stem cells. These are blended with green coffee, avocado, shea butter and other potent ingredients.
It’s a full body exfoliation and a rejuvenating mini facial, so you will feel utterly pampered by the end of it. I thoroughly enjoyed how beautiful the treatment smelled! My skin felt wonderful afterwards and I practically floated out of the treatment room, it was that relaxing.

The next morning, I had a Margaret Dabbs prescriptive pedicure.
It uses pure Emu oil, which is known for its anti-ageing properties, and plant extracts, which maintain the moisture levels of the skin. This treatment left my feet feeling rejuvenated and looking more youthful.
One thing to note for this is that the pedicure doesn’t include colour on the toes! It’s a clear polish. Totally fine, of course, but worth knowing before you head in.
Following both treatments, I was guided to the dark Monart relaxation room where I totally zen-ed out with a refreshing cup of honey, ginger and lemon tea.
If you fancy treating yourself, this package is certainly worth a try!
The five-star Monart Destination Spa is in Enniscorthy, County Wexford. Their Summer Radiance Escape includes a one-night stay in one of their luxurious rooms.
