We blame Robbie Williams. Still, at least his wife seemed to find it amusing - you know - in between the all the relentless contractions and pushing.
Posted on reddit earlier today, the caption reads: "My wife wanted to make sure that someone took a picture of the expression on our faces when our daughter was born today. So I took one."
Since then, the post has exploded, with 2,016,752 views and 5,888 points in 18 hours. The likes of Graham Linehan tweeting it has no doubt helped things along.

After a barrage of posts on the matter, most of which were congratulatory, Gilsolano12 dutifully came across with this follow up: "I actually took this pic to send to her brothers who kept asking how it was going. I showed it to her in between pushes and she cracked up. Now I'm reading her all of you guys comments while she feeds our healthy 7lb 6 oz girl. P.S. Her mom took pics of our reactions 10 mins later :)"
What a woman. I would've nutted him.
Have you had a child? What was your "birth partner" like throughout? Mine managed not to laugh his head off while Meatloaf's Bat Out Of Hell chorus came on while I was in throes of minute long contraction. I kept trying to signal to him it was OK to laugh, because he was clearly about to explode. Poor fecker.
