The next installment in the Bridget Jones franchise is much anticipated by fans of the movies, and it appears a lot has changed for our lady since we saw her last.
It's been eleven years since we last watched the trials and tribulations of Bridget's love life unfold on screen, however things are much more settled for the former singleton now in the new flick which will be called 'Bridget Jones' Baby'.
Renee Zellweger and Colin Firth were spotted filming scenes with the baby for the first time earlier on in the week in what looked to be a christening scene.
The cast are busy filming away at the moment although it's still unclear just what exactly the plot will be this time round. We do know it's not based on the third novel in the Bridget Jones trilogy, 'Mad About the Boy' (thankfully for Mark Darcy fans), but rather author Helen Fielding's columns written eight years. While Hugh Grant won't be reprising his role as Daniel Cleaver but instead Patrick Dempsey will be joining the cast. We like McDreamy and all but he better not come between our Bridget and Mark.
Anyways, check out some of the pics below!

We can't wait for this. It's a bit sad, really.
