Saoirse Ronan Has Just Been Nominated for a SAG Award

Awards season is almost upon us, and while we are all dying to find out who will get the prestigious Oscar nod, a great indicator is who makes the nominees for the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAGs) and of course the Golden Globes

As expected, our own Saoirse Ronan has made her way onto the list as she has landed a SAG nomination for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role in box office hit 'Brooklyn'.

Saoirse goes up against Brie Larson for 'Room', Cate Blanchett in 'Carol', Helen Mirren in 'Woman in Gold' and Sarah Silverman for 'I Smile Back'.

The 2016 SAG Awards will be held on January 30th 2016. We Saoirse has it in the bag.
