Hard to believe that Red Rock has already been on the air for five months, but it's true, the TV3 soap aired its first ever episode on January 7th last and since then has been gradually hooking us in to its controversial storylines involving everything from murder, drugs and police corruption.
After all that though, it looks like the soap is set to go off air for the summer months from June 4th until September. In fairness, many shows do this including Glenroe back in the day, although we're not sure how wise it is for a soap that's trying to gain viewers to just drop off the air for three whole months.
Maybe it's for budget reasons, or maybe the whole cast and crew are off on their jolliers together. Either way, they had better wrap up this damn Brian and Rachel storyline by then, he's far too evil to be thinking about over the summer.
