Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying the festivities so far, I certainly am.
As we are approaching 2016 you know what happens…resolutions. Whether we stick to them or not is a different story but many of us will start off with good intentions. I had a super 2015 and made little changes as the year went on to make myself happier. I ramped up my yoga, this helped with my mindfulness and flexibility (which in turn helps with my weightlifting). I baked more healthy treats, this pleases my other half too as he cooks 99% of our dinners so it’s good to reward him! I finally got a dog who forces me to go for walkies when I want to stay in my pjs.
So what will 2016 bring? I think I’ll maintain my 2015 resolutions and focus on making sure I allow for enough “me time” and quality sleep. I have to admit I sometimes don’t practice what I preach when it comes to sleep; I use the evenings to catch up on work and spend time on social media a lot - yes, I’ve a slight addiction to Instagram as you may have noticed. So maybe I’ll try to cut back on that if I can (even the thoughts of it make me nervous).
January always brings a busy gym and most of my regulars are already booked in which is great to see. I’ll be running my next female course from early next year which I’m really looking forward to. I mentioned these before and got a lot of interest from Beaut readers.
Group training is a great alternative to personal training as it’s cheaper per session. Training with like minded ladies keeps motivation up and brings more fun to each session.
My new female group course starting on 6th January, classes run Wednesdays at 7 pm and Saturdays at 12 pm for six weeks. If you are interested in joining please message me for more information. Places fill up fast as most clients sign up again and again!
