Today, The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry touched down on Irish soil. And the Duchess wore green.
Fair play to Meghan Markle. Earlier today, she and her fellow royals watched an RAF airplane show from the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Then, she got on a plane, not one of the RAF ones (I presume), changed on it (I presume) and a couple of hours later touched down on Irish tarmac.
For the RAF celebrations, she wore black vintage Dior; maybe one of her best "I'm a Royal" outfits yet - until her Irish gúna.
She is no stranger to Ireland and probably wore green purposefully because she knows we like that sort of thing. She had to have! She kept her aristocratic tights on, but we hope that's just because she needs to stop into Brazilia for a quick wax. It's too hot here right now for leg entrapment.

So elegant. A hint of Jackie O about her, perhaps?

It's Harry's first-ever visit to Ireland, so Meghan will have a one-up on him if they're forced to practice pulling pints. Their whistle-stop tour starts right now. They'll meet Taoiseach Leo Varadkarat Leinster House, and after will visit the British Ambassador's home, Glencairn House in Shankill, for a garden party reception.
Tomorrow they're heading to Aras an Uachtarain to meet President Miggeldy Higens, as well as Trinity College and The Book of Kells, the Famine Memorial and the EPIC Emigration Museum - where Meghan will learn about her Irish ancestors.

They'll also take in a trip to technology start-up DogPatch Labs (also in the CHQ Building, beside the EPIC Museum) and Croke Park.
We love it - what do you think of Meghan's green Givenchy dress?
