Congrats to one of our favourite Irish TV personalities; Kathryn Thomas is engaged!
Long-time boyfriend, Padraig McLoughlin popped the question over the weekend and, of course, she said yes! Announcing the news on Twitter this morning, she said: "He didn't find a perfect person that's for sure, but he loves an imperfect person perfectly....so I said yes."

The pair were on a romantic breakaway at Ballyfin House in Laois, when Padraig got down on one knee in their hotel room. Speaking to the Irish Independent, she says: "We were back in the room. I was there with the hair scrapped back, in a dressing gown and white slippers eating a pack of peanuts is when it happened."
"I bawled, I cried my eyes out. "I didn't think it was going to feel this special, but it is wonderful."
We haven't seen a pic of the ring yet, but it's a classic princess cut diamond chosen with help from expert jeweller Paul Sheeran. And apparently, "It is just perfect."
