Justin Theroux has commented for the first time on Brad Pitt and Angelina's divorce and in particular the media's obsession with involving his wife, Jennifer Aniston in the story.
Speaking at The Girl on the Train premiere, Justin Theroux told Business Insider that the split was 'terrible news'.
"As a child of divorce all I can say is that's terrible news for those children and that's all you can really say,. It's boring to sort of comment on anything else. People are having a bad time, that's horrible."
Theroux then expanded on the media trying to involve his wife in the drama, despite the fact that she and Pitt divorced eleven years ago. He thinks it all boils down to people's hunger for celebrity gossip.
"There's an endless appetite for trash, apparently, though everyone would say that they don't have that appetite," Theroux said. "But I think a lot of people do because people buy it."

"But there are bigger things to b*tch about," he believes.
"It's shocking how much bandwidth things can take up when there are far more important things going on in the world."
