Thing is, Jon was said to be a bit on the mortified side for said straddling, when he turned around and saw he was getting a standing ovation by all his peers...
Speaking of his mount after accepting the award, the Mad Men actor told The Hollywood Reporter: "It was a very odd experience. After I made my hilarious joke of climbing on the stage the way I chose to, I turned around and realized people were clapping for me. I was mortified."
Despite being several shades of Scarleh, he managed to thank his ex-partner of 18 years, Jennifer Westfeldt, which is incredibly classy. He also thanked his dog, Cora: "Jen. Cora...Thank you all very much. I would not be standing here without you."
