Yesterday's post about JLo and her winning of the People Most Beautiful Woman in the world accolade raised a few questions.
In the comments we started to talk about models and supermodels. Oldschool supermodels were Linda Evangalista, the Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and the like: they truely towered over the modeling scene and there were only a few of them. Girls who were truly supermodels had to be able to do catwalk, magazine covers, lingerie - the lot.
But now it seems that every girl who's ever done a bit of Page 3 or catalogue modeling is referred to as a 'super' model and so the term has become a bit overused.
