More casting and production information has emerged on the female caper spinoff Ocean's Eight, and things are looking pretty exciting.
While Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett were names confirmed for the film early on, other big names which are now attached include Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling and Awkwafina (who appeared in Neighbours 2).
The ladies need one more name to complete their team of eight, and it’s anyone’s guess who that might be.
Moreover, according to Deadline, ‘there is every possibility for cameos from the stars of the original trilogy’, so this is shaping up to be a good’un.
Warner Bros confirmed shooting will commence in October in New York.

The flick will be directed by Gary Ross (Big, The Hunger Games, Free State of Jones) and produced by Ocean’s Eleven director Steven Soderbergh.
