Last week, news came to light that Gavin Rossdale had been having an affair with one of his children's nannies for three years. His now ex-wife, Gwen Stefani, has opened up about the horrendous experience and had this to say on the unfortunate matter during an interview with 94.7 Fresh FM’s The Tommy Show in Washington, D.C.
"There are so many bad things, oh my God. Like, I can't even believe it. But, at the same time, there are lots of good things, and I do get to have a second chance, and I have a lot of joy right now." That joy she's referring to is her new relationship with her Voice co-star Blake Shelton.
Of Rossdale's affair, the 46-year-old added: "I wish it didn't happen. I wish that all this wasn't happening, but... it was part of my life journey. In my life I've had two really bad heartbreaks, but I've written some really incredible music out of it." Every cloud.
The mum-of-three continued: "Because of my situation right now... I feel like I go back and listen to a lot of that stuff and I get sick. You look at the song and go, ‘That was a red flag and that was a moment where I was feeling just as bad as I do today and why did I keep it up?’”

Because sometimes the thought of leaving a relationship is more daunting than just staying in it. But - usually - you're just postponing the inevitable.
Can you relate to that 'postponing the inevitable' idea?
