The highly anticipated big screen adaptation of E.L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey has been hit with a high rating in the UK.
The BBFC, who rate films in Britain, have slapped the kinky flick with a rare '18' rating citing "strong sexual content including dialogue, some unusual behavior and graphic nudity, and for language."
The 18 rating is highly unlikely to hurt the box office of the Jamie Doran and Dakota Johnson starring flick too much - pre-sales of tickets are already through the roof.

The Irish version, The IFCO, have yet to rate the film but it's expected to also receive an 18 cert.
Is anyone going to see this when it's released on Valentine's Day? Would that be the worst way to spend your evening?
