We've all been there. You come out of the bathroom with your dress tucked into your knickers. You jump up to catch the bouquet at the wedding and your boob decides to escape from your strapless dress (I believe we've all seen that you tube video). You pick up your handbag from the floor and you hear a riiiiiiiip in your trousers.
And it's not specific to women. I had a friend in college who experienced what is possibly the most cringy wardrobe malfunction of all time. He fancied a girl in our class and would sit in the back of lecture halls with her, looking all nonchalant and not listening to a word of the lecture but hanging on her even utterance. And I'm not sure why, but this term he had taken to going commando under his jeans. Maybe detergent was a stretch on his student budget, I don't know, but there is a lesson here for us all in prioritising our spends.
On this particular day, he spent the lecture in his usual seat, leaning back, legs akimbo, being all alpha and testosterone-y. After the lecture his beloved picked up her books and ran from the hall with a spurt that would impress Sonia O'Sullivan. Our bemused hero (but tragically so) looked down to see that his jeans had ripped at the front and due to the lack of underpants situation, his nether regions had been eyeing up the lady question, as surely as she must have eyed, eh,it.
Moral of the story - wear pants.
But this is how you handle a wardrobe malfunction.

Turns out Idina Menzel AKA Adele Dazeem is even more wick-ed-ly (geddit) talented than John Travolta informed us. Menzel, famous for her illustrious theatre career as well as for being the voice behind the Oscar-winning song 'Let It Go' from Disney's Frozen, was performing in New York's Radio City Music Hall recently, and half way through a song from Rent, was informed that her 'divas' were attempting to free themselves from her leather bra.
Being a pro, Menzel handled it the best way it could ever be handled (this is the tiniest bit NSFW, if you work in a parish say, or around children).
