Giuliana Rancic will not be seen daily on E! any more. The 40-year-old released the below statement regarding her stepping down from anchoring the celebrity news show:
"For more than a decade, I was fortunate enough to play a role in the success of E! News and will miss my family at the show. At the same time, I am excited to not only continue as host of two major franchises on E! but also executive produce the aspirational new show Rich in Faith for Oxygen as well as take my wine and clothing lines to the next level. This is such a thrilling time for me and I thank the gang at E! for understanding my desire to embark on this next chapter in my life,"

Rancic will still walk red carpets for the network and - weirdly enough - she's staying on as a Fashion Police presenter, despite all the saga involving her Zendaya Coleman 'weed' comments, which led to the departure of Kelly Osbourne. The show is set to relaunch in August with Joan Rivers' daughter Melissa at the helm, after a muted stint "fronted" by Kathy Griffin (she left after 7 episodes).

Even with a Rivers anchoring the show, it still won't be the same. Joan Rivers was an institution. She got away with uttering the outrageous. No one else has a licence to do that any more.
