Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding is going to be a real-life fairytale

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be giving us all some traditional fairytale realness after they wed in Windsor this May

It has just been announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will ride through the town in a horse-drawn carriage to greet the thousands of well-wishers that are expected to descend on Windsor for the occasion.

Kensington Palace revealed the details this morning, saying the pair are "hugely grateful for the many good wishes they have received since announcing their engagement" and are "looking forward to the day and to being able to share their celebrations with the public."

The Palace then went on to state that the ceremony will begin at 12 pm on Saturday, May 19th, the date of which was previously announced, and that after they wed, the couple will "undertake a Carriage Procession" from Windsor Castle through the town before returning for the rest of the festivities.

If the date is ringing a bell for some that may be because it's the same day as this year's FA Cup Final, which Harry's brother Prince William, as president of the Football Association, usually presents the trophy at.

We can't really see him making it this time although maybe he'll surprise us all and turn up locked. Who knows.
