And the World at large were under the illusion that America wasn't good a soccer... pppfffffft. Their women's soccer team has won the tournament no less than three times, the latest of which was last night when they beat Japan Five goals to nil in Vancouver.
Their amazing win motivated the likes of Justin Timberlake, Nick Jonas, Kellan Lutz, and the Obamas to take to twitter to voice their congratulations.

While the feedback online was great, the reaction on the ground wasn't wasn't exactly as riotous as when the men's team beat Ghana in their Group G heats in last year's men's World Cup... Baby steps.
