We found season four a bit trying to be honest, but we are still going to give the Claire Danes show a chance when it's back on screens.
We already knew that Carrie was upping sticks and moving to Berlin for season five, and now we know that it will pick up two years after mess of a reign as station chief in Islamabad as Carrie "finds herself in a self-imposed exile in Berlin, estranged from the CIA and working as the head of security for a German philanthropist". This being Homeland, you know it isn't going to be smooth sailing.
In the short teaser below, we see plenty of action with Danes, Rupert Friend and company but also some good old reliable angry Saul giving Carrie the what for. If it ain't broke...
Homeland has only just begun filming so we've got a while to go until we get to the bottom of what's really going on. The premiere date is unannounced as of yet but if previous tears are anything to go by it'll be late September/early October. We'll keep you posted.
