Niall Breslin was just one of the many winners at last night's Irish Book Awards, however, his win signifies another step in normalising the rampant metal health issues in this country, and that's something for everyone to celebrate.
The man who seems to be singlehandedly changing Ireland's attitude to mental health issues, including depression and General Anxiety Disorder (which I'm all to familiar with), took home the Popular Non-Fiction Book of the Year award for Me and My Mate Jeffrey. He's also blazing a trail thanks to his Ironmind documentary currently airing on Sunday nights on RTE 2 (you can catch a repeat this Friday, or it's on their player)
Girlfriend Roz Purcell was among the first to congratulate him on his win...
