Was anyone else in need of a big, huge fan on the way into work this morning? That would be the hottest day of the year hotting up, so it would. It's going to get up to about 25 - 27 degrees today, and tomorrow. As you can see, Met Eireann is covering all bases.

Then it kind of goes to pants, or in forecasting tongue that would be "fresher" as the week progresses.

It's due to rain on Wednesday night, with Thursday and Friday both being bright, with temperatures skimming the low twenties. As for the weekend, well, let's just say lap it up while we can; we'll be lucky if we see temperatures reaching the late teens. Still, we should be grateful - temperatures in the late teens was deemed extremely balmy back in the dark, dark summers of 2007 - 2012.
If you are due a little hollier, maybe consider taking yourselves across the Irish sea; our neighbours are seeing highs of 33 degrees for most of the week. Skeggy here we come!
Are you tempted to take a sneaky day off? Might you risk not getting anything done today as you dream of / actually go sunbathing in the park?
