Do we really need Blind Date in the age of Tinder? If Graham Norton is involved, the answer is a definite yes.
According to the Independent, the Cilla Black-hosted TV classic that ran for 18 years on ITV is set for a comeback this year and Graham Norton is top of the list to step into Cilla's shoes.
"It's a classic format that will be rebooted to make it young, sexy and modern," said a source to The Sun. "Expect sparks to fly. In an age of Tinder, you have got to earn the right to love on this show."
The reason Graham's name is attached to the project is because it will be produced by So Television, Norton's production company that also looks after 'The Graham Norton Show' on BBC One, and is set to air on Channel 5 later this year.

According to bookmakers Coral, Norton is 2/1 to host, while Big Brother's Emma Willis is 4/1, with Rylan Clark (the best choice if you ask us) is 5/1, Holly Willoughby is 8/1, and Davina McCall is 10/1.
For some reason, we really can't see Graham putting up with other people's nonsense. This is a man who flips people out of a chair for telling bad stories after all.
That said, if anyone can handle a group of nonsense singletons, it's Graham Norton.
