Soil Association certification? Check. Irish-owned beauty company using the finest fruits of the west coast? Double check. Brand new seaweed-based skincare? Triple check. That triple whammy is boasted by Voya, a beauty brand we've blogged about a time or three.
Based over in Strandhill, Co. Sligo, until now, Voya's been a bath and body brand, but their first foray into skincare looks very promising indeed.
There's the aforementioned Soil Association certification (even if organics aren't a big thing for you, organic certification is a marker of quality for a brand, as it's so hard to get) and seaweedy ingredients, but there're also lots of other nice bits and bobs going on in the new products, like Irish algae, marine extracts and specially selected botanical extracts.
With more to come in the next while, three products have just launched: Cleanse and Mend cleanser, €25, Ritzy Spritzy toner, €25 and Me Time moisturiser, €55. All are suitable for every skin type - even sensitive - because ingredients are "organic and are highly compatible with human plasma and therefore are very easily absorbed by the skin producing visible results," say the brand.
And you know what's coming next, don't you?
