Yes, I am reporting on some actual news here
Every day at Beaut.ie we get sent ridiculous press releases full of shock "facts" and hitherto undreamed of statistics. For example we were told last week that a unique survey of Irish brides has discovered that 82% of brides diet before their wedding!
Well knock me down with a feather.
How we chortle when we see such press releases reproduced verbatim on other websites or in the papers.

So it got us to thinking. Let's put out a lil old Beaut.ie Press Release. What will we include in it though? Let's think of some obvious facts known by everyone, make up a percentage and add an exclamation mark after every point. That's how everyone else does it, right?
- 95% say finding the perfect foundation is "a pain in the hole!"
- 84% agree that lipstick adds colour to lips!
- 99% have had a fake tan mishap - and strongly agree that this is mostly down to application laziness!
- 70% are in possession of more than five lipglosses, many of which have fallen down the side of the sofa and respondents could not be arsed to look for them!
- 88% agree that shampoo makes hair seem cleaner!
