Trying out foundations is one of my favourite things. I always have such an optimistic outlook that this is the one that will change my life and skin as I know it. Maybe my hopes are too high, and such a product doesn't quite exist yet, but I'll continue the search with gusto.
I was really excited to try out the L'Oreal Lumi Cushion Foundation. I'm a bit of a sucker for packaging and in those terms, this one most definitely hit the spot. It's the fashionable version of L'Oreal's Lumi Magique Foundation because as we all know, you're no one in the beauty biz if you don't have a cushion foundation.
The product itself is really lovely; it gives medium coverage and a shine-free, radiant effect. The thing is, with the bottle version you get one fluid oz (30 ml) for €16.49, but with the cushion version you only get 0.51 fluid oz. For me, this amount of product would only last two or three weeks, so for the €21.99 price tag, you're really just paying for packaging.

If cute packaging is what you are into, by all means, the Lumi Cushion Foundation is the product for you, but this time, we'll be sticking to the bottle.
