Uma Thurman may have tried to start a new trend with the no mascara look and while we are always up for giving new a go, this is just something we're not on board with! Even when we're having a 'no-makeup day' we can't help but wave on a slick of mascara. Sure, it's only going on your lashes (unless you sneeze before it dries) so it's not going to hinder your give-skin-a-break day, right?
Anyway, a new mascara breaks the market every day (or so it seems) promising to lengthen, volumise or give a false-lash effect etc etc and while we're happy to try them all, we do have favourites.
In my make-up bag right now is a pocket sized Benefit Roller Lash. My tube came as a free gift with a magazine and I swear I had to try four different shops before I could find a magazine that the mascara hadn't been pilfered from! I like it, it gives good lift but I actually prefer the Max Factor Masterpiece Glamour Extensions. I prefer the price too.
