Balms are a bit of a beauty buzz - we're seeing more and more products based on the auld balm formula, and they're a really nice and kind approach to skincare. You scoop up a bit of the product, warm it in your hands and then smooth onto skin.
Bobbi Brown does a few of them, including an eye care balm and a tinted moisturiser, and Spezia and Neals Yard Remedies do lovely ones too.
Now New Zealand brand Trilogy, a company dedicated to ethical beauty, have just launched their Everything Balm, which can be used for soothing dry skin, as a cuticle treatment, for massage, lips and even for babies.
