Today I want to take a closer look at a brand called Bioline Jato. It's an Italian skincare brand that has been in existence since 1979 and was introduced into Ireland in 2011.
The brand has been popular in certain Asian countries and one of its hero products is its Primaluce Cosmetic Peel which is reputedly good for pigmentation. Primaluce contains PHAs as well as AHAs. PHAs are Poly Hydroxy Acids that help in the hydration of the skin, while AHAs exfoliate off the dead cells.
I'm currently trialling their Perfect Radiance Illuminating and Protective Kit.
Each kit comes with an exfoliating serum, brightening emulsion and high SPF. The serum concentrate has a powerful exfoliating action and I find it works well for my skin as a once a week treat (just make sure to use an SPF afterwards).

The light emulsion (basically a moisturiser) includes fancy sounding ingredients like Sohakuhi and Bearberry and the Factor 50 SPF is specifically for the face and is recommended for very fair, sensitive and delicate skin subject to redness.
I'll let you know how I get on with it but in the meantime I'm curious to know if any of you have tried it? And are there any other lesser known skincare brands that you rate?
(And if you're interested, you can check out stockist listings here).
