If you ever thought that hair masks are unnecessary, think again. We think they're just the thing for reviving winter-damaged hair
Winter has a way of making everything dry, from your hands to your lips, your skin and your hair. Changing up your routine is something that just becomes a necessity this time of year.
The problem is finding the product that suits your hair type and utilising it correctly to get your hair back into tip-top shape for Christmas. There are some brands that work a treat and some that are better left on the supermarket shelf.
I've been trying out a few to find the one that's worth its weight in value and in its ability. Here are my three current favourites.
Pureology Superfood Masque €31

Pureology has launched their new superfood five-minute masques are made with avocado oil, goji berries, coconut oil and other superfoods that leave hair feeling luxurious without the heavy product feel. I saw a huge difference in my hair after the first time of using it. The direction is to use it once a week to keep your hair silky smooth.
Aveda Dry Remedy €30
Dry hair can be really brittle. Breakage is so common and can create frizzy out-of-control flyaways. This deeply hydrating, fast-acting mask will give your hair the boost it needs. Use with caution if you have fine hair, though. Rinse thoroughly as it can leave it limp. It's better suited to a more corse of thicker hair. It only needs two to three minutes in, comb through and then rinse.

Phyto Fluid Plumping Mask €44.40
A bit on the expensive side, but worth every single penny. This is packed with hyaluronic acid and acacia collagen. I used it several times over a few weeks for between three to five minutes and found it softened dry, brittle hair, without adding weight to fine hair, and delivered an extraordinarily shiny bounce. Love this product!
