We wonder if it was a coincidence that Diane Kruger, Elizabeth Banks and Paz Vega all turned up to the Jury Photo Call for the 72nd Venice Film Festival wearing frocks with floral prints on a black base? Was it in the contract? Or could they have just gone ahead and worn PJ bottoms and flip flops like Jury President Jonathon Demme?
Whatever, all three gúnas were very nice indeed, all three styles suited each lady (and were styled to suit each lady). But we're not here to talk fashion, it's their beauty looks that are up for discussion.
Diane Kruger is a style icon, she really is. She's the subject of many the prospective fashionista's Pinterest board, for good reason. She's not really known for her beauty looks - contouring and sculpting isn't really her thing - and here she is embracing the natural look (she can, of course, because she's so gosh darn naturally beautiful) but gosh darn it, she looks good.
Her formula? A sweep of mascara (with a line of kohl to bulk it up), groomed brows, some subtle blush and a nude lip. Ta-da!
Paz Vega (you might know her from Adam Sandler film - one of the rare ones that wasn't a terrible 'comedy' - Spanglish) had her eyes and lips painted, but in a day event appropriate way. In fact, this is a beautiful work look too. That rosy shade of lipstick is just right and her eye is dark, but not too dramatic.

Elizabeth Banks's look was keeping to the minimal trend but the slick of pink lippy was definitely a good move. The no-makeup look does not have to mean that you don't enhance your eyes with liner and mascara if you'd rather they stood out a bit more, and the same goes for your lips, if you feel like they need a bit of a boost.
