Being the beauty junkies that we are, we tend to get beauty product envy very easily. Do you ever see your friend with something pretty and you so badly want to rip it out of their hand and smother it all over your face? Or maybe you are more delicate with your beauty items and you just want to add it to your prized collection?
I have a friend who is the perfect example of a green-eyed beauty monster. She is unable to watch me do my makeup without taking a brush and applying everything I am applying to her own face - even though her makeup is already done! I like to call it beauty envy. I have a collection of pretty much unused beauty items that I just keep because they are so gorgeous. Some are unusual colours I would wear once and never again but I simply cannot part with them.
Another beauty junkie I know made a new years resolution to use her products 'down to the pan'. She had a full bag of makeup still in the boxes that she didn't need yet. That's just the thing - beauty envy isn't about what we need, it's about what we want.
