A disclosure before I even begin this post. The bathroom cabinet is brand new - that's the only reason it's so clean and shiny. This was the first day I put stuff into it and everything here is skincare that's being used 'on the regular' at the moment. It's one of those mirrored cabinets from Ikea - and I can't believe how shiny and mirrory and fabulous it is.
I'm a messy hoor though and unfortunately it won't be long before the surface is covered in goo, a film of powder settling everywhere and a bottle will doubtless leak and leave an indelible stain.

But let me enjoy this few days of loveliness. One the top row I've got the moisturisers I'm using right now. My skin is ultra dry and needs loads of heavy duty kindness - these moisiturisers from Lancome and Clarins are really lovely and skin softening. But even these babies aren't enough for me - I have to mix them with oils and Pai Rosehip Oil and Botanics are the two I'm using at the mo.
On the bottom row there's a brilliant masque from Ren ClearCalm3, because although my skin is dry it also has a desperate tendency to clog - which is why I like to exfoliate (you can just see this Benefit B.Right exfoliator at bottom right). Two staples: Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil has been my makeup remover of choice since the year dot and I literally cannot survive without a big can of Batiste. Plus a newbie - L'Occitane's brand new Verbena Sorbet range is GORGEOUS - I'm using the body gel. If you like Verbena and lemony scents get it. You'll love it.
So that's two shelves. I'll snap the other three - but for now tell me what skincare have you got in your cabinet that you can't live without?
