Because of the muggy heat that's enveloped the land for the past few days we've been plastering our faces with powder to try to mask our sweaty Betty-ness - but now Kara Tointon has inspired us to put down the puff.
Attending the BNP Paribas Tennis Classic VIP Reception, the actress epitomised the summer look we've been trying to do since May, fresh faced, minimal beauty. She hardly looks like she's wearing any makeup at all, just a coating of mascara and some gloss and her groomed 'do is giving us serious hair envy. Currently, our barnet resembles Monica's from that episode of Friends when they went to Barbados.
Tonight we are going to go to town with our NYC dewy look makeup setter.
Check out Kara's lovely summer party ensemble. Orange she lovely? *gets coat* While we might have chosen a different pair of shoes, white heels would probably have worked better (yes, we went there, white heels), we want a white blazer in our lives to drape over our shoulders.

There were some other very nice garden party outfits at the event, we particularly like this floral number sported by 'A Guest'. Great bag too.
