There's a grand old stretch in the evenings now and it's light enough in the morning for me to put my makeup on in the car again (I'm in the passenger seat) - which means, as far as I'm concerned, it's springtime! Ok, so the weather's not exactly playing ball but I'm reaching for lighter, brighter makeup colours and have switched up my scent selection, too. Here are my favourite five.
Roger and Gallet Citron: I fell in love with this light, citrussy scent last springtime and am now on my second bottle - the 30ml size is so handy for travelling, for chucking in your handbag or for keeping in your desk drawer at work. Not to mention more economical at €17.50 a pop, too.
LUSH Euphoria cologne: Part of the Set in Stone collection - comprised of nine new Gorilla fragrances - Euphoria is absolutely gorgeous. It's unisex so it's clean and fresh and, with clary sage, grapefruit, lime and neroli, it's been created to make the wearer feel pretty darn good. All the new scents are available in six sizes - this one, the smallest, is €12.50 for 7 ml.
Balenciaga L'Essence: This delicate green floral is light and airy, with a slight powderiness. It's almost unisex but there is a very slight sweetness there - with notes of violet and violet leaf it also has quite an old fashioned quality to it. It's such a lovely scent for day and perfect for this time of year. Read our full review.

Kiehl's Nashi Blossom and Pink Grapefruit: A Christmas present from my bestie, this is my first Kiehl's scent and I absolutely love it. Pink grapefruit is one of my favourite scents - it's so uplifting and to my nose it's the strongest note in the mix. This is quite a sweet, fresh fragrance and I can't wait to get my hands on the matching body cleanser.
Stella Nude: I was given this at an event last year and wasn't sure if I'd like it - transpires that I do, and rather a lot, too. It's predominately a gentle rose scent, with a hint of grapefruit for freshness, and another lovely daytime choice.
