A couple of weeks ago we had a heads-up about Queen's newest treatment, the Venom Facial, €60, and last Wednesday I went in to check it out for myself.
Billed as the perfect pick-me-up before a big night out because the Planet Skincare products used are plumping and firming, this is also a great lunch time treat. You get to lie down in a warm, quiet room while your therapist expertly applies unguents to your skin, and that surely beats packed, stressy cafes or a sad, lonely sandwich at your desk, eh?
Coming in at between 30 to 40 minutes, this is more about pampering and hydrating than giving you a full skin NCT. So you won't get steam or extractions, but you will get a lot of facial massage, acupressure and neck and head work. That means you leave feeling relaxed and with cushiony, glowing skin. If you happen to have a big night out, then you'll be well rested, and your makeup will go on like a dream after it, too.
