We listened to the science so you don't have to.
Because when it comes down to it, these products are expensive and we want to make sure they work before letting them loose on the site. We're used to all the old blarney so when Kirstie and I went along to the launch and met the guy who developed the range (read the story of the suddenly beautiful hand for more background) we were keeping an open mind.
I've had these products for a few weeks but wanted to wait until I gave them a good road test before I put them on the blog.
Marketed as "age management" (not antiageing) the first thing I noticed was the effect the range had on the condition of my skin. I've been moaning for ages about stressy blocked pores, sudden zit attacks and general blotchiness.
Well guess what? It's all clear. Gone. No spots. Nothing.
And I haven't done anything else different really. I've been taking my makeup off with a new A'kin cleanser (more on that later) and then using the cleanser from this range (Bio Active Marine Enzyme cleanser €47.50, 200ml) on the er problem areas of nose and chin.

It's cleared the lot right up. Absolutely amazing - and for that reason alone I love this range already.
I've been following with the Bio Active Stimulating Serum €115, 30ml) and then Bio Active Renewal Complex Cream moisturiser (€115, 50ml) and they are really nice, really good products with good scientific results.
There's just one little teeny issue and if you don't like crudity in your skincare reviews look away now. But er there really is only one way to say this.
The active ingredient in the serum is spermine and the serum is exactly the colour and consistency of jizz. There's something over excitable about the packaging too as this stuff spurts forth from the nozzle too enthusiastically and spurts out wildly. I've watched far too many applications shoot across my bathroom floor: it's time for the nozzle to get a little more Tantric and think of England or something.
The packaging is plain for such a high end range - but what's inside is damn good.
Brilliant stuff. Massive thumbs up.
