Now I'll admit I can be a leetle heavy handed with the blusher brush. A few times lately I've caught sight of myself in shop windows or mirrors and been horrified at the tangerine stripes that have glowed back*. I think the paleness of me is making me go a bit bronzer crazy.
"But it's summer" I'm almost petulantly telling myself. "I deserve some sunshine".
And it looks grand and natural at home. Though it was clearly time for a change - after all the anti shoplifting mirrors had spoken.

Another score for Mac Mineralize from moi- as soon as I tried the Earth to Earth blush from the Grand Duos collection I was hooked.
One half of it is a soft bronze shade while the other half is made up of that fantastic marble, veiney mix of highlighter that makes the Mineralize range so fab. Swirl the two together, apply to the cheekbones and you're sorted. Very difficult to go too heavy with this one - the minerals are baked into a cake and the coverage is sheer. So you'd need to be very determined indeed to get a stripey effect. Perfick.
