Rita appeared in the caff on the Friday episode of Corrie. She's been absent for quite a while.
"Rita looks... different" said the husband.
I snapped to attention, discarding the book I was reading.
"Facelift" I diagnosed instantly. "And it's a good one. Takes more than ten years off her."

"Are you sure?" he said. "I think she's just got her hair done".
That's just a classic facelift diversion tactic I explained. People can see there's something different about you, but they can't quite put their finger on what it is. So you change your hairdo at the same time. Then they think that's what the difference is.
