Heads up combo and oily-skinned peeps: Lynnie gave you some great tips on getting slap to stay put earlier this week and Rimmel has a new primer on its roster that's got oil slick all over it.
Fix & Perfect Perfect Pro Primer, €8.25, goes nationwide in April (I'd guess it'll be in Boots now) and is essentially a silicone-based gel formula that smooths out uneven skin as a prep-step before foundation. Pores will be somewhat filled in, fine lines masked and other ingredients in the mix like spherical powders (if you don't mind) are designed to give a flawless finish and the silicone mattifies and schlurps up excess oil too.
Bear in mind this isn't a review: my own dry skin doesn't often need the aid of a primer and when it does I go for the basic silicone wonder of Smashbox Photofinish for a nice smooth appearance and crag-filling or a hydrating option as opposed to something very specifically formulated to control oil. So don't take my word for this one's amazing abilities; you'll need to buy to try.

For the price though, if it performs then it sounds like it could be a winner for anyone who finds that their makeup's down around their ankle socks by lunchtime.
