I've asked you all before what really turns you off a product, and the responses were very interesting. "The smell of cheap sweets", wailed Bunnybun, and vanilla makes Townygirl shudder. Atomic Blonde agreed: "Vanilla makes me feel physically sick. Most horrible smell ever!!!", she insisted. Other beauty ingredients that you beaut.ies loathe are banana, fake chocolate fragrances and patchouli. Some of you wrinkle your noses at florals like lavender and rose scents, and others can't bear coconut and musk. Me? I absolutely hate vanilla and coconut. Yuck!
But that's not to say there aren't loads of lovely things I do like. The smell of Annick Goutal's Eau d'Hadrien makes me literally want to drink the bottle down it smells so good, and I have already admitted to putting my tongue into a tub of Origins' Incredible Spreadable Scrub to see if it tasted as nice as it smelled. It did not.
So spicy ginger is another fave. I also go for fresh fragrances like green tea, mint and lemon, and I'm a sucker for a light floral. I like the smell of YSL foundations and Chanel skincare always smells so nice too.
