There is no denying it - when God was handing out voluminous barnets, I was at the back of the queue. Lookit, the devil was handing out 99s from his little ice cream van (fair enough, he lives in a hot climate) and I was more interested in being in that line.
So while I have had an appetite for Fat Frogs and Freaky Foots (Feet?) since I arrived in the world, my hair has continued to sit in three strands on top of my head. In order to create a bun, I have to tackle it Jackie Healy Rae style and practically wind it around my head and utilise some type of industrial super glue to hold it in place.
I will never have hair like Kate Middleton. I've accepted this. But I would like to have something on top of my head that people can instantly identify as hair.

And we all know that having a decent hair dryer is half the battle. Mine died a horrible death at the weekend (it's inside came out and it was all bit gruesome) so I am in the market for a new one.
So tell me, what brand and type is by your mirror? Do you think the more expensive versions are worth the money? Or are budget buys just as smoothing and volume-creating?
