I hate minerals, don't I?
Well...
I used to hate them. But recently, I've had - I won't call it an ephiphany - a change of heart. I was pretty impressed with Mineralogie's offerings at Nue Blue Eriu, and then I got some of Prescriptives new All Skins Mineral Makeup. €38 a pop, there are 18 shades on offer, and I am really liking the one I've been trialling.

It's not remotely drying, buffs on nicely and gives smooth, even coverage over well-moisturised skin. I've adopted it as my current day time foundation product - at night I like to use a liquid. Used with my Make Up For Ever Kabuki brush, it goes on a treat. Now, the biggest problem I have with mineral makeup is the inability to conceal properly, cos it's kinda hard to kabuki round your nose. Yes, you can get past that with use of smaller brushes, but it's just a wee bit fiddly for my liking so I tend to use my regular cream concealer in tandem.
But for ease of use, and speediness in the morning, I am finding this hard to beat. In use now for over a month, my skin is suffering no dryness or irritation, which has happened to me in the past with mineral makeup.
So, a resounding thumbs up from me - if you've been sceptical about minerals, then this could be the one for you.
