We've had lots of posts recently about pore reducing potions, like Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch, and Estee Lauder Idealist, and visible pores are something a lot of people seem to be really concerned about. I doubt seeing endless retouched pics in advertising helps - not one of those ladies has anything resembling a pore.

But the fact of the matter is, we've all got them, so I just want to remind us all that while we might not like them, pores are actually necessary - we need them to live - they're involved with regulating and controlling temperature, and they also expel toxins from our bodies as the skin helps the main organs of elimination (liver, kidneys and intestines) to get rid of waste buildup. Hail to pores! While it's great to get products to help with overlarge or dilated ones, getting rid of them entirely is just never going to happen - it can't, basically. So if yours aren't too noticeable, don't fret about it. And we can all also take solace in the fact that airbrushed ladies only have none in the fantasy land that is the re-touchers studio - in real life I bet they're riddled with them, hurrah!
