Preparing your skin is an important step in the makeup process, particularly for oily skin. It will make your makeup last longer, hold off that pesky, unwanted shine for longer, and give your makeup a lovely smooth canvas to go over. What I love about this particular makeup base is that it doesn't leave any residue on the skin. It doesn't leave your skin silky, or silicone-y or moist - thank God - because I don't like applying makeup to silky, silicone-y, moist faces. A lot of the time, makeup seems to roll off these primers or they highlight the pores they are trying to fill or the makeup begins to separate. So usually I don't use one when I'm applying makeup on oily skin. Until now. Now everyone of all skin types gets a good spritzing of this primer water before the makeup goes on.
It will leave your skin hydrated but feeling like normal fresh clean skin. Makeup sits on it beautifully and it leaves absolutely no greasy residue which is ideal for oily skin. Apply your makeup as normal over it and then - wait for it - spritz again! The primer water acts as both a priming spray and a setting spray.
It's not new, but it's worth shouting about if you haven't come across this ace of a makeup product.
