Party season is officially upon us! As fun as it is, all those nights out can take a toll on your hair. Here are our top tips for keeping your hair, in tip-top condition.
Party season - it's come around quickly this year, hasn't it? Last time I checked it was August! But enough about my bad timekeeping, let's talk about the here and now. And right now, we're all gearing up for Christmas events, shindigs and all that the party season has to offer. Of course, with this comes the fun of getting dressed up, and dressing up wouldn't be complete without fabulous hair.
Whether you're into Hollywood waves, beachy curls or a simple textured ponytail there's always some kind of styling involved. With styling comes products and tools. And that's before we've even talked about getting roots fixed, or a half head of highlights.
Looking fabulous can take a toll on hair, but it doesn't have to. Here are our top tips for saving hair from damage this party season.
Heat protection sprays
The first step in damage control for hair during party season is prevention. Using a heat protection spray not only makes styling easier but will help hold it for longer. Most importantly, though, a heat protection spray will help to protect your hair from heat damage.

Masks
Hair masks are a step up from conditioner and offer more hydration and nourishment. They can be so important for maintaining hair, especially the lengths that can get fried by heated styling tools. You can make your own, buy them, or (if you're feeling like pampering yourself), request a special deep conditioning treatment next time your at the salon. Trust us, it'll make all the difference.

To help protect your hair from damage, a good trick is to make the most out of your styling. For example, plan ahead - if you are getting a curly blow dry for Thursday night, turn it into a textured ponytail for Friday and then a messy braid or bun on Saturday. Alternatively, if you want a beach wave, try braiding your hair the night before In the morning, spritz the braids with a little hairspray and then run fingers through it. Voila, beach waves with no wand or tongs required!
