17, Boots young brand, have been rather good of late at the auld designer collabs. And there's a new one on the way, this time produced in collaboration with Scottish fashion person, Jonathan Saunders, who uses traditional silk screening techniques, developing the concept of engineering prints around pattern pieces, enabling him to create show-stoppingly enigmatic pieces. And those influences are very much evident in his packaging for 17 - they're gorgeous, graphic and very strong.
But what's inside? The collection comprises two strands, lips and eyes, with 4 striking shades in each. For lips we have Alwyn, a bright red; Rousseaux, a fuschia pink; Elia, a pale pink and Tourney, a nude shade. Eyes get Selwyn, a mink brown, Favia, a fuschia (oohh, like the sound of this - A LOT), Vodence, a charcoal grey, and Elador in white.
