I love both the city and the brand so my answer to this question is always gonna be a hell yeah. Somewhat disappointingly though, Bourjois don’t really want to meet us in Paris - but they’re making up for it by launching some lovely new nail polishes under the Rendez-Vous a Paris moniker (and yes, you’ve seen that name before).
Eight new shades of So Laque nail enamel are on offer, glossier than ever before, and inspired by the super chic French capital. Sleekly packaged – the lids match the shade choice for easy identification – the colours range from a coral red through to an elegant grey-beige and powder blue. They describe a lot of the shades as being bleached, as if they’ve been faded a little by the sun – it makes for a very pretty effect.
Here’s the full line-up:
- Oh So Rose – pretty pale pink
- Prepp-hibiscus – bright coral red
- Taupe Modele – chic taupe grey
- BC Beige – a bleached out version of Taupe Modele
- Amande Defile – soft mint green
- Adora-bleu – bright bleached blue
- Coton sur ton – bleached out pink
- Peach and love – pinky peach

And I have five of them to swatch for you today.
L-R: Adora-bleu, Taupe Modele, Prepp-hibiscus, BC Beige, Oh So Rose
The formula is also very good. Containing vinyl, for shine, and resin to combat chips, they’re promising 10 days – I got half of that and was happy. The colours go on easily with no streaks and there’s lots and lots of shine.

And getting in on the nail art trend, Bourjois suggest that you pair the shades – teaming, for example, Taupe Modele with Adora-bleu, as in the model shot above – and are bringing out a nail art kit, too. Everything launches this month so look for it now, with the polishes priced at €7.99 a pop.
