I’d more or less resolved myself to needing at least two concealers on the go at any given time. Find one that will cover spots perfectly? It will be dry and cakey under the eyes. Discover a great under eye illuminator? It will only serve to highlight those blemishes. I’d built myself quite the concealer kit – sure they practically need their own bedroom.

Suitable for all skin types, they also refreshingly cater for all ethnicities - the lightest shade, Chantilly, is definitely going to be popular here in Ireland. Colours are also delectably titled so you might not want to read the following list on an empty stomach!

- Honey: Warm peach undertone for light to medium complexion
- Custard: Yellow undertone for light to medium complexion (I think this sounds like the perfect one for me)

- Biscuit: Medium dark natural balance of pink and yellow undertones
- Caramel: Medium dark yellow and golden undertones
- Amande: Medium dark with golden olive undertones
- Cafe: Dark shade with warm red undertones

The brilliant thing about this product is that it is genuinely as good at camouflaging dark circles as it is at covering spots. The formula lives up to the promise of its name, and provides good but buildable coverage that won't cake or crease, and that stays put all day.

Crucially, too, for my combination skin, I find this neither clings to any little dry patches or wears away where I'm oily, like around my nose or on my chin. The wand applicator means it's a doddle to apply, it blends perfectly with my fingers and gives a perfected finish that still looks nice and natural.
