Nars is having a birthday. They haven't quite reached 'key of the door' age (but they are only one year away from embarrassing speeches and 21 kisses) but they are celebrating their 20th with one hell of a launch.
Their Audacious Lipstick Collection features, count 'em, THIRTY shades, all named after inspiring women like Raquel, Grace and Marlene. The idea of this new range from Nars is too find your perfect match - the lipstick that you swipe on in a flash and are ready to face the day.
The face of the campaign is Francois Nars' ultimate muse, Charlotte Rampling, who has a gorgeous, rich oxblood version bearing her name.
The range has everything from nudes to dark berries, bright pinks to corals and reds. The pigment is exactly what you'd expect from Nars - great colour, creamy texture and you won't need to reapply every five minutes. One word of caution though, they are not forgiving to very dry lips so make sure you prep with a lip exfoliator (or, you know, old toothbrush).
I have three to show you from the range:

- Charlotte - a dark oxblood, inspired by the muse herself
- Grace - a bright coral-red, warm undertones, ideal for sallower skins (more coral-toned than the pic below shows)
- Lana - another bright option, this one is a classic orange/red
One of these will set you back €30 which isn't the budget end of the scale but the quality is fantastic - right down to the sleek black packaging and the very satisfying click when you close the bullet.
These are on counter now and if you have some spare notes in your pocket, they are well worth a look.
