Firstly, the formula is amazing because it is so wet. It really coats all your lashes from root to tip in one application - none of this pushing the wand into your eyeball trying to get the black stuff to coat your lashes. You know how sometimes the formula can feel a bit dry and almost lumpy? It feels like you are combing your lashes but very little product actually lands on your lashes? Well, not this one. The wet formula glides on so easily. Now the downside to this is that you need to let it dry before doing too much looking around or you will end up with mascara on your brow bone and under your eyes. But we promise it's worth a minute's waiting.
Secondly, the rubber brush is easy to use. I know a rubber wand isn't everyone's preference, but you should give this a try. After a few goes, you should get used to it. It's a sturdy brush so it pushes against your lashes for immediate application. If you use the edge of the wand, right at the tip, you can get right to the teeny lashes on the inner and outer corners.
Finally, it is SO black. Like, extra black. So, between a formula that glides on easily and the extra black colour, you get a really great coating of mascara in one go.
